INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. (DRAIN OIL) HAND INSTALL SELF TAP TAPERED THREAD BOLT STRAIGHT INTO DAMAGED ALUMINUM OIL PAN THREADS. PUSH / TURN CLOCKWISE UNTIL THREADS TAKE HOLD.
2. APPLY 7/8 WRENCH TO HEX-BOLT SLOWLY TURN CLOCKWISE *NOTE* TAPERED THREAD INSTALLATION WILL VARY DUE TO VARIATIONS IN DRAIN HOLE DIAMETER. CONTINUE UNTIL THOROUGHLY TIGHT.
3. REMOVE HEX-BOLT / WIPE TAPERED THREADS CLEAN
4. 4. WITH SAFETY GLOVES KNEAD TWO COLOR EPOXY UNTIL UNIFORM COLOR. APPLY TO & AROUND MARRED AREA OF TAPERED THREADS.
5. WIPE DRAIN HOLE THREADS. REINSTALL TAPERED THREAD BOLT, WITH APPLIED EPOXY INTO DRAIN HOLE. WITH 7/8 WRENCH TURNING CLOCKWISE UNTIL THOROUGHLY TIGHT.
6. LET STAND 10 MINUTES. FILL WITH OIL. CHECK FOR LEAKS. IF LEAK IS PRESENT SLOWLY TURN HEX BOLT CLOCKWISE UNTIL LEAK STOPS.
REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. (DO NOT REMOVE HEX-BOLT) GRIP WITH PLIERS. PULL TO REMOVE.
2. AT EACH OIL CHANGE SERVICE... INSPECT ECOPLUG RUBBER GASKET. WIPE RESIDUAL OIL FROM INSIDE HEX-BOLT & REINSTALL ECO-PLUG.
